Want to get connection under saddle? Join us for our 2016 Conference…

toby gallop beachA shared dream of many of us is having a horse who loves to be ridden just as much as you want to ride. A horse who comes willingly over to mounting block, is willing to go forwards but just as happy to slow down again when you ask. A horse who moves evenly, soundly and beautifully. The good news is that you can have all of this and more – our 2016 conference is all about Riding with Connection!

This conference will cover riding topics such as:
> Overcoming problems (everything from napping to bolting) under saddle safely and effectively

> Why connection equals confidence, for both you and your horse

> How CT can build clarity, lightness and responsiveness to boost communication and performance

> How to use positive training methods to teach your horse movements to improve suppleness, straightness and evenness – both on the ground then into the saddle.

Our Conference History
Rachel and I started running the Equine Clicker Conference in 2012 to bring together different people using reward-based training with horses. By sharing experiences, ideas and different approaches, everyone can gain more knowledge and find the best approach for them. The conferences in 2012 and 2013 involved both lecture days and practical demonstrations – learning more about the theory and then seeing it in practice was voted very helpful by everyone!

Now we’re bringing the conference back! We’ve had a short break from it due to both personal circumstances and the little (!!) task of starting and building Connection Training alongside Shawna. Obviously, the 3 of us will be there and we’ve got some other fantastic speakers lined up for you, too. We’ll reveal more about them very soon…
