I was delighted to chat with Alexa again from the Whole Horse Podcast. In our first chat, we got into the principles of positive reinforcement training and discussed practical ways to build motivation, while keeping relaxation and bringing it into your everyday life with your horse.
In this second episode, Alexa was asking all about the upcoming CT Book. Here’s what she says about it:
“This episode celebrates the release of Hannah Weston’s new book Connection Training! After our first episode together, I couldn’t wait to chat with her again, and I was thrilled when I received a copy of her book pre-release. Positive training has been on my radar for years, but I admit to being a skeptic – chatting with Hannah has been a breath of fresh air, bringing in essential and connecting variations and a comprehensive understanding of equine emotions. I’m excited to try some of the connecting episodes in the book with Diva, and will report back in a future Hannah episode on our progress!”

While you’re there, do check out Alexa’s other episodes. She has some fascinating discussions with great horse people, including sharing her own experiences as an Equine Sport Therapist and horse owner exploring all areas of horse keeping and training with her own mare, Diva.
The Connection Training Book is released TOMORROW – 9th November! It’s available to pre-order now. To celebrate its release, we’re running a 3-week online Conference, which you can access FREE when you order the book. Click here to find out about the book and Conference.
