A few weeks ago, the whole Connection Training team was together in the same location for the first time in 2 years (though Skype is a good substitute!) for our Riding with Connection Conference.
We were joined by 4 other brilliant speakers and 80 delegates from around the world, who were all part of making this event so successful and enjoyable. It was so lovely to see so many people training horses in this way and to see everyone meeting up with old friends and making new ones. This was helped along by our Steed Dating at our Conference Dinner – this is a bit like speed dating but you talk about your horses! It was so much fun, with lots of laughs and new connections being made 🙂
Since we’re all pretty goofy, it was a conference with a relaxed vibe and plenty of giggles – joy goes a long way in making the learning experience fun for humans as well as horses!
Here is just some of the fantastic feedback we’ve received about the Conference:
“Amazing conference, inspiring. This is definitely the way forward with horses and I’m so glad I’ve found you! Thank you ” Sophie Chamings
“Thank you to all the organisers/speakers at the conference and it was lovely to meet everyone else too!
It sometimes gets a bit lonely when you’re training and everyone else at the yard thinks you are bonkers (my experience anyway). It is nice to know that there are others out there who are starting/started on their road to building a better relationship with their horsey partners. See you all next year and I look forward to catching up with everyone and seeing how we have all progressed!” Phillipa Mitchell
“I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the conference, thank you Hannah, Rachel, Shawna, Claire and everyone else involved and it was nice to meet so many lovely people! Feeling inspired now!” Jenny Eichner
We’d also like to give a huge shout out and thank you to everyone who helped out to make this Conference a great success and to Pandora for the great photos!
