For this one, some of my fantastic students joined me and my own horses to create a perfectly oiled Christmas Elf stocking-filling machine (did you not know this is how Santa does it?). My lovely Dad was roped into playing Santa – he passed away earlier this year and I’m sure this is how he’d like to be remembered!

Heading off up to Scotland and want to wish you all a very happy new year. You are wonderful students…I think the nicest people find us, those who care most about their horses and are prepared to do everything they can to make life great for them. I love teaching you all. You are so receptive to new ideas and it’s what makes me get out of bed and bash away at the keyboard. I’m looking forward to a great training year in 2016, taking Rowan into being a happy-go-anywhere riding pony and helping you achieve some of your horsey dreams too. See you in January! Rachel xx
