Here I show you how to teach your horse to change his stride length and balance, so that they can shorten their strides and slow down, or lengthen them out and power and stretch forwards. This is the foundation exercise of things like your horse changing their stride and balance for different terrain, jumps, re-balancing, half-halts and collection and extension as well. As always, I’m using positive reinforcement, so the training is gentle, clear and rewarding. Hope you like it!
