If you’re anything like me, you want to give your horse choice and for them not to feel compelled to do the things you ask. Giving choice is such an important part of the way I train and it’s always the first step in building communication and a strong, trusting relationship with your horse.
It’s actually a big, juicy topic, but in this video I look at why choice is important for our horses and what that actually means from a practical perspective, too.
