Hannah at Brinsley Animal Rescue: Training Day

We (Brinsley Animal Rescue) rescue wild and unhandleable ponies. Each one needs to be trained so they can be handled and eventually re-homed. They need to be trained so that we can give them care and treatment. We use positive connection training techniques.
We are holding a training day on 20 May, where you can learn all about the science and basics of positive horse training, the training will be facilitated by Hannah Weston. The day will consist of an introduction to Connection Training plus live training sessions with the ponies. Hannah will demonstrate some training and also give lessons to staff and volunteers who work with the ponies. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion, too. The training day is from 10am until 4pm at the sanctuary and entry is strictly ticket only. Tickets are limited and £25 for each person. This includes hands on training, lunch and refreshments, with all profits go directly to the charity.
