Workshop with Hannah Weston – Somerset, UK

You can attend with your horse and get a one to one lesson with Hannah morning and afternoon and watch all the lessons, or as a spectator which enables you to watch the lessons throughout the day. There will also be plenty of time to chat and ask questions!
There will be a range of horses and behaviours so you can see these techniques being used in variety of situations. This is a really great way to understand the underlying principles and get loads of techniques and ideas to apply to a range of situations.
Hannah can help you work on:
> Getting started using positive reinforcement training
> Solving problem behaviours such as spooking, loading, barging, farrier, clipping, rushing, planting, napping etc
> Working on riding – everything from teaching your horse to lining up at the mounting block willingly to building connection, willingness and responsiveness under saddle
> working on suppling, balance and body awareness exercises in-hand or ridden. If you’ve never done any of this with your horse, it’s a perfect introduction as well as refining movements and exercises too.
> Fun stuff and brain games – such as trick training, teach fetch, football, spanish walk, send to targets, object discrimination etc
